The Nike Air Griffey Max “Wheat” is an autumn-inspired colorway of Ken Griffey Jr.’s former signature shoe. Nike’s beloved “Wheat” theme has appeared on countless releases over the years, and it finds its way on the Air Griffey Max a year after the retro performance shoe celebrated its 25th anniversary. This release features a Wheat-colored suede upper with a contrasting white outline Swoosh on the forefoot. Griffey’s “24” jersey number with the Seattle Mariners appears on the side of the adjustable ankle strap and tonal “Nike” branding is debossed on the front of the strap.
